Where do I come from is a song by the singer-songwriter Maggie Roche, who with her sisters Terre and Suzzy, was a member of the band The Roches. The song is the title song of Maggie’s posthumous album released in 2018.

This song “Where Do I Come From,” was found among Maggie’s things after her death and is most likely the last song she wrote. 

Maggie’s sister Suzzy Roche was quoted as saying this about her sister:

“She was a private person, too sensitive and shy for this world, but brimming with life, love, and talent,” … She was smart, wickedly funny, and authentic — not a false bone in her body — a brilliant songwriter, with a distinct unique perspective, all heart and soul.”
